McQueen's return

This would be amazing, will be amazing...I had better be in the country.

Cosy Knits

I know this a man's cardigan, but currently living through the coldest Summer we have had in 18 years has made me search for cosy knits that will keep me snug and this Diesel one is perfect....

Net a Porter treats

Oh the fun to be had this Autumn.....
I will be calling in favours to my friends at nap.

Fishtails and Braids

This week I have mastered the art of fishtailing, it looks great day or night. Flicking through the new Asos magazine a page of braids and fishtails has made me want to experiment more. I especially like Jessica Stams pretty day style.

Farhi's Fourties Fare

I spotted this dress in the S supplement this week, following the fourties theme of the season this dress is perfect teamed with socks, chunky heels, red lipstick and fourties waves. Farhi by Nicole Farhi.

Natasha Poly French Vogue

This shoot in French Vogue with the Yves Saint Laurent make up team has a black swan feel causing me reminisce about old dancing days. I love these glitter sprayed feathers...

Natasha Vodianova

The news that Natalia and Justin Portman have split up was sad, but after hearing that Natalia has found love in a new man made me happy .... Her family are beautiful and seeing them at shows impecibly dressed and behaved always makes me smile.

Zara - A/W 2011

Today's shopping trip took me to Zara, I have found over the last few years my affection for Zara has grown. The seasons have changed, did we ever get a summer? and the autumn collection is shaping up. This blazer makes a great staple in my new autumn, influenced by the masculine trend for AW11. It makes a great statement piece for work or socialising. I would team it with a plain vicose vest, jeans rolled to the ankles with round toed pumps for shopping, or over a metallic number for cocktails.

Chloe

I have always been a Chloe girl at heart, I love the girly young feel and these shoes make the ideal summer staple.

Jacobs for Dior

The news buzzing around today that Marc Jacobs is first in line to take over at Dior, which has left me pondering over this potential move. Marc has been amazing at Louis Vuitton, which would need big boots to fill, but there is absolutely no doubt Marc could take over Galliano and make Dior his own. Can't wait for his first couture show if the move does happen.

Chanel A/W 2011

The September Issue reading sesh, was an two hour epic long fashion fix. What I am still smiling about at almost a week later is this Chanel advert. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, I am glad she is still continue to influence the fashion world after he vogue departure. As I have met her and she is a very lovely lady. It has really tempted me to try the pink eyebrow look out....

The September Issue

I unwrapped my new vogue this week, oblivious that my favourite time of year had arrived. The September Issue. I have managed to leave it untouched until tomorrow morning to read cover to cover as a Saturday morning treat. Freja's green D&G dress has such a seventies feel I can't wait to cover the first page...
